​Almost everybody feels good doing a bit of tree planting, and knows that it has important benefits to the environment, encouraging species diversity and, in the longer term, contributing towards carbon reduction in the atmosphere.  PACE members have joined with school children, councillors and local residents to plant an area of native trees in Lawford, and are keen to volunteer our help in other planting schemes, including Essex County Council’s Forest Initiative.  Look out for these on our website as volunteers are always welcome.
