The news of untreated sewage released into UK rivers, including our River Stour, raised great concerns for wildlife and for people swimming, sailing etc. Nine members of PACE are trained to take samples each month of water and invertebrates which measure water quality. Our results go to the Environment Agency who investigate any concerns. You can join the sampling team if you want to learn.
